Diploma Course in Biological Medicine and Aging

Expert Course in Biological Medicine and Aging Project is a university extension specialist in theoretical and practical training for professionals in the field of Health Sciences.

This is a first cycle that enables t to access the degree of Master in Aging and Biological Medicine and having passed this course, which sets out the approach of Biological Medicine in conjunction with several medical specialties, especially with chronic diseases.

The participant will be trained in the latest techniques of Biological Medicine who have proved their efficacy, safety and absence of side effects especially applied to the assessment of biological age and, consequently, the diagnosis of a possible pathological aging, its prevention and treatment.

The aim of the course is to enable the students to understand and master the theoretical and practical aspects of major diagnostic and therapeutic techniques related to Antiaging Medicine, including aging cosmetic treatments.

In addition, we will teach the participant to manage an Anti-Aging Clinic in all its aspects.

The course lasts a total of 300 hours, of which 240 are theoretical and 60 practical training and is equipped with 30 credits. The theoretical hours taught by 40% personally and 60% at a distance through e-learning platform.

The classes will be taught from February 2010 to July 2010 during office hours 15:30 to 20:30 pm on Friday and from 9:30 to 14:30 pm and from 15:30 to 20:30 pm on Saturdays.

The dates will be communicated in due time, occupying usually one weekend a month.

Training accredited by the University of Alcala, who issue the appropriate title.

Requirements: Degree in Medicine and Surgery or Bachelor of Health Sciences.

Test Level: The student must perform a level test in which the qualified teacher will evaluate the knowledge of the subjects of the course. Depending on the results, the student will receive a receipt indicating whether it is suitable or not for the course.

Assessment Test and Dissertation: Students will perform an examination and a dissertation to evaluate their knowledge after the course.

    Really interesting, well this is very old I think I?m late for classes lol but it would be nice to participate in something like this, as these new health matters are taking place in the whole society and you can find a lot of jobs related to that, well I hope to try a course like this one someday..

    Hmm…Biological medicine and aging, I bet that would be a really interesting course to go through! I’m very fascinated with the effects of our diets on how we age. I read Deepak Chopra’s book about Perfect Health, and it was quite revolutionizing to change the way one thinks about food, health and aging. Interesting article!
