Diet and nutrition guide for treating varicose veins and hemorrhoids

Published: 02/28/2011 - Updated: 06/21/2016

Varicose veins are weakened veins that appear with a blue color especially in the legs, thighs, etc., and which are mainly due to a disorder of blood circulation. Hemorrhoids, on the other hand, also due to sick and swollen veins in the rectum or anus that can be internal (veins inside the rectum) which often bleed easily on exertion, may also be prolapsed (hang from the rectum and can return to it) and external hemorrhoids (which are outside the anus), which cause itching, pain and bleed.

Both conditions are mainly due to very poor diet, high in refined flour, excess white sugar products, refined, fatty food, starch, dehydrated products, processed food and fried, all of them cause an excessive buildup of toxins and bad fats which not only obstruct and undermine the veins, but can cause constipation, overweight, and a number of impurities in the blood wearing veins, making them brittle and unhealthy, causing severe vascular and circulation problems.

If the diet remains inadequate, the problem will tend to deteriorate, and more frequently varicose veins will appear and hemorrhoids will become increasingly more painful and large.
If you want to cure and treat varicose veins and hemorrhoids deeply, undoubtedly, the diet is essential, no matter the medications taken; these will not work at all if the diet is not addressed soon.

We recommend a cleansing diet for 7 days, it’s a deep way to clean your veins, intestines and blood, since the body cannot take advantage of nutrients efficiently if there is an excess of toxins and harmful fats.

The cleansing diet consists mainly of choosing a fruit and eating it only this with 2 liters of pure water for 3 days. The best fruits for this are: pineapple, grapes, papaya and orange.

After three days of purification, then follow this diet:

FASTING: take the juice of a lemon with a glass of green tea three times a week, and four times a week, take a raw garlic clove with a glass of warm water. Wait 30 minutes without eating anything else.

BREAKFAST: Eat a bowl of fruit or a glass of recommended fruit juice. Wait 20 minutes until the fruit is digested and then after breakfast, eat a bowl of oatmeal or a cup of brown rice with vegetables, or vegetarian sandwich.

LUNCH: Vegetable soup with a medium piece of chicken or steamed fish, not fried. Food should be always accompanied with a glass of fresh vegetable juice (freshly made) which includes carrot, alfalfa, celery and sprouts 5 times a week at least. If you do not want to drink juice, make a salad with these vegetables. You can also use the recommended plant (see details in recommended foods to strengthen and heal veins). Instead of soup, you can eat brown rice or miso soup, the key is not too much spice and not too cooked vegetables. Do not take sugary drinks to accompany your meal.

BETWEEN MEALS: a cup of horsetail tea, green tea or dandelion.

DINNER: you can eat vegetarian sandwich or pizza, small vegetables, a bowl of oatmeal or a cup of brown rice with vegetables. Serve with a cup of aloe juice or pure warm water.

NOTE: You must drink 2 liters of water at least to keep the body well refined, and maintain this diet until the varicose veins have disappeared.
