New guide with guidelines for healthy eating

The Community of Madrid publishes a guide with healthy eating patterns. It advises increasing consumption of fiber and distributing food to four or five meals.

The Department of Health and Consumption of Madrid has issued, through the General Directorate of Public Health and Food, a guide with guidelines for healthy eating that emphasizes the benefits of sport to eliminate fats or balance energy expenditure.

This manual, to the general population from 12 to 65 years, has a series of recommended patterns to maintain an appropriate weight or lose weight, always smoothly. In this sense, advises taking hypocaloric food (fruits, vegetables) that provides lots of protein, vitamins and minerals.

Also it recommends increasing consumption of fiber and distributing food to four or five meals, because, he says that removing any food causes the body to activate the mechanisms of fat storage. Also, it advised to eat and chew slowly.
