The health is not impossible with fun! Children can have fun and a delicious menu but this doesn’t have to be full of sugar or products that harm their health just as soft drinks, which contain dyes and amount of pollutants that only alter and impair the nervous and digestive systems of children. These recipes are delicious, even the most demanding child like them. Do not think that healthy foods are unattractive, since something healthy can cause pleasure and enjoyment.

So if you want to give a nutritious, practical and fun menu, here are these recipes:

Apple Jelly

Ingredients

(For 2 people, so adequate quantities for the number of children)

  • 1 natural gelatin
  • Natural apple juice (instead of water). Usually apple juice is sweet, so  you don’t need to add sugar.
  • Small pieces of apple, peeled and finely cut (don’t cut until you are ready to add them to gelatin and since they might spoil)
  • Juice of two lemons
  • Moulds for individual children

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, empty the envelope of gelatin in apple juice and juice of two lemons.
  2. Heat stirring constantly until gelatin is dissolved in 4 or 5 minutes.
  3. Turn off the heat and add some diced apples quickly and add them in individual ramekins.
  4. Add the gelatin and let cool, then put it in the refrigerator. And presto!

I think that kid?s parties can be very good situations to develop a healthy menu and this way introduce the children to a better and healthy lifestyle without making them feel bad by taking all sweets and the things they like away from them. Well, I do not have children but if I would then I surely will prepare him or her a nice and healthy carrot cake!

I’M NOT SURE IF THE KIDS WOULD ENJOY HAVING THESE MEALS AT A PARTY, MAYBE THEY ARE VERY USED TO OTHER TYPES OF FOOD, BUT IT IS A GOOD WAY OF ENCOURAGIN THE KIDS FOR A HEALTHY LIVING

    SO THANKS FOR SHARING !

Kids (especially in the US) are given way too many sweets (and adults too! almost more so than children, because no one can tell adults ‘no you can’t eat that’), and it’s really sad to see how many kids suffer from cavities, obesity, and diabetes. You shouldn’t have to use sugar and fat to treat a kid to a tasty treat.
