Delicious desserts with Coffee

In moderate doses, coffee may help prevent some diseases and help maintain memory as well as help to increase mental and physical performance. As in the chocolate, which could affect more when coffee is consumed excessive amounts as refined sugar are mixed with either the cocoa or coffee. Both one and the other have their nutritional properties, but only when used with balance, as coffee, in this case, often irritates the nervous system in excessive quantities. Moreover, the coffee has lots of antioxidants which help to slow the aging process.

Coffee fritters

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 4 teaspoons of instant coffee
  • 200 g of flour
  • 100 g of icing sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 100 g of butter
  • 250 g of water
  • 1 lemon rind
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Oil, hopefully grapeseed

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, pour the water, butter, salt, lemon peel and soluble coffee. Bring to boil.
  2. Pour the flour all at once, stirring with a spatula until a dough to pull away from the walls.
  3. Remove from heat and mix the eggs one at one. Once well mixed, it is ready for frying.
  4. In a frying pan, with a lot of oil, fry the dough balls, they will not be larger than a hazelnut.
  5. Leave to swell until golden.
  6. Let drain on paper towels and sprinkle with brown sugar.

Charlota of bananas with coffee

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of instant coffee
  • 15 biscuits
  • 400 g of sugar
  • 8 egg yolks
  • 3/4 liter of milk
  • 3 sheets of isinglass
  • 1 cup of whipping cream
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 4 ripe bananas

Preparation

  1. Boil the milk with the vanilla.
  2. Beat the sugar and egg yolks, and add gradually, milk and isinglass, previously washed in cold water.
  3. Put on fire without stirring walls and bottom, do not boil . Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. Before it solidifies, add the cream, instant coffee and bananas squashed.
  5. Mix.
  6. In a ramekin appropriate to the amount, place a background of star-shaped biscuits, and coat the walls with as many biscuits.
  7. Once the cake pan is coated in biscuits, pour the cream ready. It is appropriate that these two operations are prepared before finishing the cream, because otherwise it could solidify difficult to discharge in the pan.
  8. Serve once it has solidified.

Coffee Custard

Ingredients

  • 3/4 of a liter of milk
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 400 g of sugar
  • 4 heaping tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1 stalk of cinnamon
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • 4 teaspoons of instant coffee
  • 12 cookies of ice cream , triangular

Preparation

  1. Boil the milk with the cinnamon and vanilla.
  2. In a saucepan mix the egg yolks, sugar, cornstarch and coffee. Mix well with a spatula.
  3. Pour the boiling milk and put on the fire, stirring constantly. When the cream from sticking to the knife, it will be when it starts to boil , remove from heat and pass through a sieve into a source of something deep.
  4. When cool, the cookies are placed garnishing around the custard.

Cookie with coffee cake

For 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1/2 liter of strong coffee
  • 500 g of butter
  • 250 g of brown sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 30 cookies, in small pieces
  • 50 g of cocoa powder

Preparation

  1. Heat the butter to soften without melting is reached.
  2. Mix the sugar with the butter until a smooth paste. Add coffee.
  3. Add the cookies and make a paste.
  4. Pour the batter into a buttered pan.
  5. Bake in a medium oven until it becomes hard . Chill.
  6. Unmold and sprinkle with chocolate powder.
  7. Serve cold.

Chestnuts with Coffee Cake

For 8 people

Ingredients

  • 600 g of chestnuts
  • 4 eggs
  • 50 g of crushed raw almonds
  • 150 g of butter
  • 250 g of sugar
  • 150 g of biscuits
  • 4 teaspoons of instant coffee

Preparation

  1. After taking away their outer shell, blanch chestnuts and remove the second skin.
  2. Boil, simmer until soft. Drain and pass through a sieve.
  3. The resulting puree is mixed with egg yolks, almonds, coffee, sugar and butter, adding the crushed biscuits .
  4. Beat the egg whites until stiff, adding them to the mixture, stirring gently .
  5. Then pour into a mold previously buttered and bake in a medium oven for an hour.
  6. Serve cold.
