The Board in the days of Earth Healthy and Organic production
This event is part of the awareness campaign on nutrition and consumption of organic products that this association is carrying out in order to convey a set of values and consumption patterns in healthy and respectful environment.
The director of the food market, Federico Lopez, today highlighted the efforts that the Ministry of Agriculture and the organic agriculture industry have made to give value this type of productions that feature and bring wealth to the region.
Federico Lopez moved today to Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) to participate in the presentation "Healthy land and organic production, modern agriculture and the future", organized by the association of organic producers "Tierra Sana" Castilla-La Mancha and integrated into the Strategic Plan for Organic Agriculture that was initiated by the Executive Castilian-La Mancha.
According to the director of the food market, this Plan, recently approved, intend to be an impetus to this type of production, channeling all the policies and actions aimed at developing sustainable agriculture and environmentally responsible providing the consumer a healthy product and guarantees.
Representative of the regional government also highlighted "the growing demand for products from organic agriculture by the developed society that is increasingly concerned about healthy eating and quality."
In this regard, noted that "the marketing of these products will help increase the incomes of farmers and ranchers who have decided to get down to work and provide a differential feed."
The initiative, held at the CEU from Talavera, is part of the awareness campaign on nutrition and consumption of organic products that this association is carrying out in order to transmit a series values and consumption habits healthy and respectful environment.
The event was also attended by the director of Agricultural and Food Industry, Ministry of Agriculture, Almudena Rodríguez, who emphasized the importance of promoting the consumption of organic products among minors.
