BioFach 2007 reaches record visitors

Some 45,273 trade visitors (2006: 37,426) – an increase of 21% – from 116 countries took advantage of the great days of the spring  February 15th to 18th, to move to Nuremberg and learn about the world market for organic products and natural cosmetics.

34% of visitors came from abroad, notably Austria, Italy, the country's year in BioFach 2007, the Netherlands, Poland, France, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Spain.

All praise is lavished on the bid submitted by the 2566 exhibitors (2006: 2088, +23% increase in the area +18%) of BioFach and Vivaness.

Over two thirds of the exhibitors came from abroad. Among the 80 nations which were included in total, were strongly represented, along with the strong presence of German organic producers, the traditional Italy, Spain, France and Austria.

The approximately 8,000 Experts used, besides the information of the stands, over 150 acts of Congress and BioFach Forums to increase their professional knowledge.

    That is SO awesome to hear. That shows to me that more and more people are becoming interested and involved in organic agriculture. To me, consumer responsibilitity and environmental awareness goes hand in hand with the decision to support organics, which tells me that whatever Spain is doing ,they’re headed in the right direction.
