They are called "milk" not only because replace cow's milk of animal origin, but that far is gone because they are much more healthy and nutritious, perfect for maintaining the overall beauty of the body. In addition, vegetable milks do not contain lactose, harmful gat for the body or hormones that are added with sugar, additives or chemicals or vitamins and minerals. With these formulas you can prepare cakes, desserts, creams, sauces, dressings and many dishes as well as being highly energetic mixed with fruit and honey in the morning.

Then we present the development of 6 vegetable milks, but do not think that you can prepare only them, almost all cereals and fruits (like pears and apples) can produce vegetable milk, and also There are many ways to prepare, so you can go changing the recipe as you go like the taste.

Oat Milk

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of cold water
  • 2 cups of cooked oatmeal-optional: you can use an envelope of instant oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • Salt to taste
  • Add honey if desired or Maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender
  2. Whisk for 2-3 minutes
  3. Strain or so left, who likes to drink and refrigerate the remainder. You have to mix it well every time I go to use.

Almond milk

(Rich in phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, calcium, sulfur, iron, aluminum, zinc, manganese and copper, and contain many vitamins like A, E, B1, B2 and PP).

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of almonds
  • 4 cups of cold water
  • Honey to taste (or left without honey for use in other dishes)

Preparation

  1. Before peeling the almonds, put them in boiling water for 5-7 minutes
  2. After peeling let them, let rest for a night
  3. Mix all ingredients in a blender until have a homogeneous mixture
  4. After you beat them, let it sit for about 30 minutes
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine cloth or sieve
  6. Save in the fridge.

Pistachio milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of well-washed raw pistachio
  • 4 teaspoons of syrup or honey or brown sugar (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 5 1 / 2 cups of hot water

Preparation

  1. Combine the pistachios in a blender with a cup of water for about 5 seconds at high speed.
  2. Lower the mixer speed to a minimum for another 15-20 seconds.
  3. Add another cup of water to the mix
  4. Let the mixture sit for a while
  5. Add two cups of hot water
  6. With a clean cloth squeeze all the content of the mixture
  7. Repeat process (steps 2 and 3) with two cups of water
  8. Keep refrigerated.

Soy milk

Ingredients

  • 1 / 2 pound (227 grams) of white soy
  • 3 gallons of cold water
  • Cinnamon to taste

Preparation

  1. Soak soybeans overnight.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a blender (mixer).
  3. Boil the resulting mixture for 30 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat when mixture begins to boil.
  5. Strain the resulting liquid.
  6. Keep refrigerated.

Quinoa Milk

Ingredients

  • Burn fat

  • 1 cup of raw quinoa scrubbed
  • 4 teaspoons of syrup or honey or brown sugar (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • 7 1 / 2 cups of hot water

Preparation

  1. Combine the quinoa in a blender with a cup of water for about 5 seconds at high speed. Lower the mixer speed to a minimum for another 15-20 seconds. Add another cup of water to the mixture.
  2. Let the mixture sit for a while. Add two more cups of hot water.
  3. With a clean cloth squeeze all the content of the mixture.
  4. Repeat process (steps 2 and 3) with two cups of water.
  5. Add brown sugar or syrup. Keep refrigerated.

Sunflower seeds milk

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 3 teaspoons of syrup or honey or brown sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 6 1 / 2 cups of hot water

Preparation

  1. Mix in a blender sunflower seeds with a cup of water for about 5 seconds at high speed. Lower the mixer speed to a minimum for another 15-20 seconds. Add another cup of water to the mix
  2. Let the mixture sit for a while. Add two cups of hot water
  3. With a clean cloth squeeze all the content of the mixture
  4. Repeat process (steps 2 and 3) with two cups of water
  5. Add salt and syrup. Keep refrigerated. The milk has a greenish color.

    I have developed a liking for the almond milk but I only have buy it in the naturist shop. It is kind of expensive so I was thinking in learning by myself to prepare this delicious milk in my home and I found this article, which not only explains how to prepare almond milk but other varieties! That is great! I?m going to try all of them

    quinoa milk??’ for real? , well maybe it is nutrious but surely it doesn´t taste so good at all, but well if you say so

    Oh how cool!! I have been dairy free now for quite some time, and I actually avoid most plant-based milks that you buy in the store anyway, because I don’t like the thought of consuming preservatives that were used to extend shelf life. This is perfect!
