What should you avoid?

If the look and good care of your teeth is one of your priorities, you should avoid abusing the consumption of products such as wine, cigarettes, soy sauce and berries, as these can leave them permanently stained.

In turn, you should avoid foods high in sugar, especially refined. The process that damages your teeth is fast.

The sugars are distributed in the dental plaque, which are metabolized by microorganisms to become acidic, and this acid lowers the pH of the dental plaque and form caries. The acids produced by microorganisms gradually lead to demineralization of tooth enamel, followed by rapid destruction of tooth proteins.

Fluoride

Fluoride is a mineral that helps by 50% to prevent cavities. It is found in foods such as shellfish, fish, water, gelatin, chicken, fluoride milk, fluoride salt, green vegetables and potatoes. Furthermore it is present in toothpastes, mouthwashes and some sugarless gum.

Other Care

The basic thing you should do to care for your teeth, is the daily cleaning, not only the use of a good toothpaste while brushing teeth well, but you need to use floss over them. Do not forget to go to consultation with a dentist regularly. The care and good condition of your teeth is in your hands, it is simple and does not involve much time and investment of money.
