The fifth outdoor exhibition “Eating Madrid” will be held from April 8th to 11th in the central Plaza de Santa Cruz. Among other things, Eating Madrid will have the best Goat Cheese in the World. The pure juice of aloe pulp and giant wheels of figs and almonds are also players in the area around the event. After the Easter holidays, Eating Madrid meet a varied selection of cuisine from our autonomous communities, with special attention to organic products.

The Cured Goat Cheese Catí took the gold medal in its category at the World Cheese Awards held in October last year in Gran Canaria. "The best cheese in the world should be in the best showcases of culinary world," admits Oscar Ortín, distributor of the maker of Castellón, in allusion to his presence in Madrid Eating. This is well accompanied by organic goat cheese Catí Romero, bronze medal in the same competition, and the Catí Pañoleta, Best organic cheese from Spain in 2005.

Dates and almonds in Alicante, Córdoba virgin olive oiland Vitoria sausage will join the classics Guijuelo Pata Negra ham. A dozen manufacturers unveil their product direct to the public with artisanal production methods that do not use chemical fertilizers or other techniques harmful to the environment. The fair will be open from 11:00 to 22:00 h. without interruption. Eating Madrid return to the plaza of Santa Cruz from May 6th to 9th, September 2nd to 5th and November 4th to 7th. The public attendance and the variety of its products reaffirmed as one of the most appealing food fairs in the capital.

    I just love cheese! I think could eat cheese forever and looking at this article gives me a need for more! Just joking but I?m impressed about this because I didn?t know there were fairs like this one, so I really hope to go to one of these and eat all the cheese I can!

    Haha! This title sounds so funny! I feel like reading these articles is always doomed to do an injustice to whatever cheese or food, or even beverage, it is describing. there’s no possible way that words could ever capture an experience as rich as taste, so reading these types of reviews just makes me so curious to do a cheese tasting adventure!
