Association CAAE failed the 8th edition of the "Awards for Research and Defense in Organic Agriculture and Livestock", convened annually since 1999 in collaboration with the Nunez de Prado family.
The jury decided to award the Prize "Andrés Núñez de Prado Research in Organic Agriculture and Livestock”, with the aim of promoting research in Organic Agriculture and Livestock, the agronomic and nutritional quality piece of strawberry with ecological techniques and bio sun by the Authors: Ms. Inmaculada Carmona Moreno, Mrs. Laura Perez Bisbal. This prize consists of diploma, an image of olive and bathed in funding silver of 6000 euros.
Second prize was to comparative study on energy and economic experiments of long duration in conventional agriculture, conservation and ecology, authors: D. Ramon Murillo and D. Meco Lacasta Charles Dutoit. This memorial consists of a diploma certifying the status and image of winning olive bathed in silver.
The Prize "Andrés Núñez de Prado to the defense and promotion of organic agriculture" was also awarded, with the aim of rewarding the work of individuals, companies or entities that have contributed significantly to the defense and Promotion of Organic Agriculture in Andalusia. This recognition is shared by industry Bodegas G. Gomez Nevado, located in Villaviciosa de Córdoba, producer and marketer of oil and wine from the estates of his property to D. Juan Antonio Moron Moron, producer of almonds, figs and grapes in the area of La Contraviesa in the Alpujarra of Granada, and D. Antonio García Sierra, Ganadero of the district of Guadix, and marketer of meat from his farm, for their long historical and disinterested in the development, promotion and dissemination of agriculture and animal husbandry and ecological environmental protection. Recognition memorial consists of a diploma certifying the status and image of winning olive bathed in silver.

Wonderful. There definitely needs to be some sort of system in place that rewards the hard effort taken to research what types of organic systems are actually effective in sustainably growing crops, and not harming human health through consumption. Keep up the good work!
