V International Conference on Environmental Medicine

Published: 05/03/2011 - Updated: 05/31/2016

The V INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF ENVIRONMENTAL MEDICINE meets the world's leading experts in diseases related to the Environment.

The papers will address the diagnosis and treatment of emerging diseases caused by environmental toxins, such as Multiple chemical sensitivity. The event, organized by the Foundation Alborada and the Foundation Vivo Sano will be held at the College of Physicians of Madrid between 24 and 26 June.

The fifth International Congress of Environmental Medicine will be in the College of Physicians of Madrid, from 24 to 26 June, and will bring the most prominent specialists in environmental medicine to discuss the treatment of diseases of environmental origin, and in particular the Multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS), a condition that is growing rapidly in developed countries due to the continuous increase of chemicals in the environment. Numerous studies are showing the relationship between long exposure to synthetic substances and diseases like diabetes, autism or hyperactivity.

This year, the International Congress of Environmental Medicine attends the world's leading experts in this field. You will meet, among others, Dr. William Rea, founder of the popular Environmental Health Center in Dallas (USA), or Dr. Jean Monro, medical director of Breakspear Medical Group, an outpatient clinic in the UK specializing in MCS. Also, the agenda includes the director of the European Academy of Environmental Medicine, Dr. Peter Ohnsorge, working on a draft of European environmental medicine curriculum, and Martin Pall, Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Washington.

The meeting is to talk about the heart treatments for diseases caused or aggravated by toxic chemical and electromagnetic. These treatments are beginning to eliminate as much as possible the toxins in our everyday environment and continue to help the body to expel those who already have accumulated in organs and tissues. Event organizers stress that priority is to stop denying the evidence that the toxic world hurts the individual and society.

Among the presentations and panel discussions, the conference includes those focused on immunotherapy, functional biology techniques, Bio-resonance, bio-transformation of enzymes, intravenous therapy or integrative medicine. All these fields provide key advances in the diagnosis and treatment of MCS and other environmental maladies, which represents a decisive improvement for millions of patients worldwide.

During the V International Congress on Environmental Medicine there will be also a discussion about the influence of toxic of physical origin on the health: the natural radiation of electromagnetic pollution, and the legal and juridical aspects of diseases of environmental origin, and actions and initiatives to prevent that economic interests take precedence over the health of people.

There will also be debates on fertility and environmental toxicants, other diseases of environmental origin (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis), the autonomic nervous system, geo-environmental health, relationship between electromagnetic fields and MCS, and allergies and toxicity to the environment.

I think this is a good initiative to motivate people and teach them that pollution can be our worst enemy, not only for our health but for the entire planet. So I hope that these people can reach many more and the world can be a better place for everyone.

What a wonderful article, and this is such great news, that more and more of this information is being disseminated and the public is growing in awareness and interest. Environmental medicine is something we all need to be aware of, because it is a simple fact of life. We cannot continue to take it for granted.
