Desserts are always a good ending for all of our meals, however in many cases they are high in calories and so we deprive ourselves of them. Since our table would not be the same without a delicious dessert , today we propose delicious and varied options that are very light, low in calories and full of flavor especially to close any meal in the best way.

1. Oatmeal with orange and nuts

  1. Cook the oatmeal with the milk until well hydrated and has a thick consistency (roughly 10 minutes).
  2. Peel the oranges, removing all the skin and cutting into wedges.
  3. Place the cooked oatmeal into bowls and add the oranges.
  4. Chop pistachios roughly and sprinkle over the oatmeal.
  5. Add the finely chopped dried peaches.

Always when I am on diet the most difficult part to do is avoiding the dessert and many times is very tedious, but well if you know more recipes made like those you could help me a lot to change my habit of having too much sweet, thanks a lot!

cream of gelatin sounds delicious, I am great fan of desserts but I do not want to gain more pounds, because after that heavy christmas, I am still having some rolls of my hips result of the many sweet I consumed, so maybe this is a good idea!

ONE OF MY FAVORITE RECIPES FOR HEALTHY DESSERT IS THIS:

MELT SOME BROWN SUGAR WITH WATER IN A PAN UNTIL SMOOTH,

THEN ADD SOME OATS AND MIX UNTIL THE BROWN SUGAR GETS HARD..

COMBINE THIS ONCE READY WITH SOME YOGURT OR ANYTHING YOU LIKE…

    AND THAT IS ALL!

Hey thanks for the great recipe ideas. The holidays are coming up soon, and I feel like I always have to be the family anchor that puts the brakes on eating inordinate amounts of sweets and unhealthy treats during the next month. I don’t understand why people have this idea of treats having to be unhealhty…

These sound tasty and a good option for people trying to watch their weight, however for me you cannot beat a nice slice of chocolate cake! As long as you are exercising regularly and eating healthily, I think it is okay to eat what you fancy once in a while
