The fruit of the Goji (Licium barbaricum) is native to the area of the Himalayas and has been used in China for thousands of years to improve and maintain health and longevity. In the Himalayas, where there is a geological and climatic variety that is not found anywhere else in the world, there is a soil that is extremely rich in minerals that emerged from the deep surface of the Earth for thousands of years. Furthermore, as a geographical area that is recognized as the highest point on Earth and thus closer to the Sun, is a particularly rich with the energy of this star.

In this area there are over 18,000 species of plants that cannot be found elsewhere in the world, and even more surprising is that each of these plants have healing qualities, preservation of health and the youth.

History and Legends

Goji is said to have existed since the beginning of time, and is the fruit of a plant which many legends have arisen, especially one that tells of a Chinese named Li Qing Yuen, who lived 252 years. The secret of his long, healthy and energetic life was due to consumption of this plant.

The plant was once found in a deep excavation during the Tang Dynasty, where after an excavation near a famous temple, noted that the silver of Goji berry grew abundantly and fell into the water well. The faithful prayed there for a strangely enjoyed remarkable health, people over 80 years of age enjoyed without a gray hair and admirably healthy teeth.

Goji Species

Currently in Tibet grow 41 species of this plant, which is found in Asia as a special food to keep the body in optimal conditions. Under the sharp eye science, this result proved to contain a high amount of nutrients, Dr. Earl Mindel, author of a book called the Bible of vitamins, found in this food a group of active polysaccharides unique to a particular species of Goji from the Himalayas.

Goji Properties

The Goji berry is the more nutrient dense fruit on the planet Earth and has a high range of phytonutrients, antioxidants and vitamins. Their molecules have a geometry that can interact with each other by reconstituting the cells of the body, let's say that somehow this plant molecules behave as if you "remember" the cell to its main function in the body, causing the reversal of diseases such as cancer, hepatitis, allergies, osteoporosis, arthritis, etc. and providing life, health, youth and energy to the whole organism. Furthermore, this fruit amazingly strengthens the immune system.

During a long time, the natural medicine had been used only as a preventive medicine and health depended on the type of food was consumed. Over several years people have shown that natural medicine has been not only surprising to those who practice and believe in it, but in medical science. In this case, the Goji is a great alternative for those who enjoy the power of nature and gifts it gives us.
