Very interesting, swimming is a COMPLETE sport, you work on arms, legs, torso and more. And you gain stamina as well, so I think everybody should practice at least once a week to prevent diseases and be healthier just like article explains. Keep going on posting things like this.

Even though swimming may require more time than any other sport (as you need to change your clothes and have the necessary equipment to do it), after reading this article I feel pretty encouraged to start practicing so! I think people are not so aware of the many advantages that swimming provides. No doubt there is no sport as swimming!

A former co-worker of mine (who was also a really good friend) was quite a bit older than me (around 40), and she stayed in GREAT shape by swimming nearly every day. She was absolutely sold on the effectiveness of swimming, a full-body exercise, and the water was also cleansing and refreshing.
