February 14, 2006. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) will be represented at the 17th International Fair of Ecological Production BIOFACH 2006, held in Nuremberg, Germany, from 16 to 19 February 2006. This Fair is the most important for the ecological sector in Europe.
Spain will have a pavilion of 1,614 m2 and will count on the participation of the Control Agencies of the Autonomous Communities and 169 companies of ecological products. The companies come with their best manufactured products and ecological guarantee raw materials with the aim of placing them in the main European buyer market, which is given at this fair.
The institutional area of ??the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food will have an exhibition area and general information, with space for business and commercial meetings. It will be equipped with an area of ??general services and warehouses, with a team of translators to assist the exhibitor and the general public. In addition it is planned to hold meetings between cooperatives of the Confederation of Agricultural Cooperatives of Spain and German companies.
