Slimming juices with Green tea

Green tea is a good ally for diets and weight-loss strategies as it has a thermogenic effect that helps promote the body's burning of fat. It also works as an ergogenic, so that when combined with exercise, it promotes our physical performance and energy use during physical activity.

1. Pear and prune juice with green tea

Pears are a nutritious fruit with antioxidant properties, which help combat high blood pressure, cholesterol and improve our immune system. They also provide iron and calcium, which help strengthen bones and red blood cells.

Ingredients

  • 2 oranges (juiced)
  • 3 plums
  • 2 pears
  • 1 cup of cold green tea
  • 1 piece of  nopal cactus

Preparation

  1. Pit the pears and plums before passing through the juicer.
  2. Add the resulting juice to the orange juice and the cactus and blend together in a blender/food processor. Add green tea, stir and serve immediately. It is recommended to drink the juice twice a week.

2. Pineapple and Green Tea

This juice is useful to combat constipation. Aloe vera combats constipation naturally and is also anti-inflammatory. It also helps to balance the intestinal mucosa of the stomach, making it useful for heartburn.

Ingredients

  • 1 piece of aloe vera
  • 1 cup of pineapple juice
  • 2 cups of brewed green tea
  • Stevia to sweeten

Preparation

  1. Cut the aloe in half, wash well with cold water and remove the pulp.
  2. Blend the pineapple juice and green tea with the aloe pulp. Serve and drink immediately.
    This juice can be drunk daily until intestinal transit improves.

3. Green juice with vinegar

Cactus is a plant rich in fibre which helps us remove fat and reduce constipation. It helps to cleanse the colon, because it is rich in soluble and insoluble fiber. The latter absorbs water and thus accelerates the passage of food through the digestive tract, regulating proper digestion.

Ingredients

  • 1 cactus
  • 1 small bunch of purslane
  • Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • 1 cup of cold green tea
  • 1 stick of celery

Preparation

  1. Pass the celery and purslane through a juice extractor. Add the resulting juice to the blender with the remaining ingredients and blend.
  2. Serve and drink immediately. You can drink this juice three times a week to regulate your bowel movements.

4. Pineapple and green apple

The pineapple has diuretic properties, providing enzymes that help improve our digestion and activating the metabolism which facilitates fat loss.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of diced pineapple
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 cup of cold green tea
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons of fresh ginger

Preparation

  1. Pass apple and pineapple through the extractor.
  2.  Blend the resulting juice with green tea and ginger. Serve and drink. It is recommended to consume this juice 2 times a week.

Warnings

Green tea is usually well tolerated and is a great ally for diets. You can drink as tea or cold, however it is important to consider the following:

In the case of pregnancy and lactation, do not drink more than two cups a day since it also contains a small dose of caffeine which is a stimulant, representing in an increased risk of miscarriage.

It is also recommended to avoid it in cases of diabetes, anemia, osteoporosis, liver disease, anxiety disorders and glaucoma, in which case it is best to consult your doctor before use.
