The European Medicines Agency (EMA) adopted its traditional use for:

The Commission E accepts the use of oak bark in treating inflammation of the genital mucous.

Traditionally oak bark preparations are also used for the treatment of acute and chronic skin conditions such as eczema, chilblains, excessive secretions of sweat from your feet, and in the case of hemorrhoids, and eye inflammations (conjunctivitis) disease.

How to prepare the infusion: Pour a tablespoon in a cup of boiling water and let stand five minutes.
If you are root, bark or seeds than usual it is to boil five minutes.
