Shopping Horsetail (Equisetum arvense L.)

Traditional use: based on prolonged use, horsetail is used as a diuretic for the "washing of the urinary tract" in the treatment of mild urinary disorders, to increase diuresis. Traditionally it has been used as herbal teas, as an adjunct in the treatment of overweight. In topical use is used as an aid in wound healing and torpid ulcers.

External use: wounds, even those difficult to heal. Ulcus cruris.

How to prepare the infusion: Pour a tablespoon in a cup of boiling water and let stand five minutes.
If you are root, bark or seeds than usual it is to boil five minutes.
