Traditional use: for the symptomatic relief of mild gastrointestinal dyspepsia and spasmodic affections of nature in minor hepatobiliary dysfunction and as an adjunct in the treatment of constipation.

Description: Boldo is a shrub native to the mountains of Chile that reaches 6 meters. Its leaves are hard, nerves and marked by scrubbing, fresh, off a pleasant aroma. It is a dioecious plant, ie, with male and female specimens. The fruits are small dark balls.

The boldo is now cultivated in Chile, North Africa and Italy.

How to prepare the infusion: Pour a tablespoon in a cup of boiling water and let stand five minutes.
If you are root, bark or seeds than usual it is to boil five minutes.
