In the hot season, salads are the favorite food of many. The style of eating salads and vegetables either steamed or raw depends on how they are seasoned. The seasonings that we share at this time are easy to prepare; you can do in a two by three at home and, furthermore, are very nutritious because they are made with high quality ingredients, which gives you the freedom to eat with trust.

Tofuwith pepper mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of tofu, crushed with a fork.
  • 4 lemons, juice
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard
  • 2 teaspoons of Tamari
  • 2 teaspoons of extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch of crushed pepper
  • Sea salt to taste

Procedure

  1. Blend all ingredients, making sure to incorporate well until smoothed into a soft dough.
  2. Spread on your raw or steamed vegetables or salad dressing or a brown bread sandwich with vegetarian ham. Hmmm…

Marine sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons ofhoney
  • 2 tablespoons of toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons of corn oil
  • ¼ ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of soy oil
  • 1 clove of garlic chopped
  • 3 tablespoons of white wine, a little more depending on taste

Procedure

Mix in a saucepan, heat to low, all the ingredients. Stir well and integrate, stirring constantly. Dip about 2 minutes then serve over your favorite salad or vegetable.

Vinaigrette dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of olive oil cold pressed
  • 5 lemons, juice
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano or Italian herbs
  • 1 / 8 cup of water
  • Sea salt to taste
  • 1 / 8 of soy sauce 100% natural (Tamari)

Procedure

  1. In a bowl mix the ingredient.
  2. Prepare a salad with soy and alfalfa sprouts, cherry tomatoes, bits of cooked sweet corn and stir well. Bathe with this dressing. Reserve and keep in a jar in the refrigerator the rest.

Cottage cheese dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup of tomato juice concentrated (natural)
  • 1 / 3 cup of cottage cheese
  • ½ teaspoon of white or golden miso
  • 3 lemons
  • 3 tablespoons of tahini
  • 1 clove of garlic

Procedure

  1. Blend well all ingredients until creamy.
  2. This dressing goes well with fresh salads.

Yogurt dressing

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of Natural yogurt
  • ¼ cup of Cream
  • 1 chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients.
  2. Bathe your salad with this rich dressing.

Vinaigrette

Ingredients

  • 3 teaspoons of Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoons of vinegar
  • A few drops of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Mix in a small bowl of olive oil and vinegar with a beater.
  2. Join perfectly while beating rapidly.
  3. Add the drops of lemon, salt and pepper.
  4. Bathe your salads with vinaigrette.

    Many times people believe that salads are boring because most of the time they are just not enough savory and then people discard salads as a good option for a whole meal, now we have to change this and including delicious and exotic dressing is the best thing we could do, so keep on going with recipes like those.

    I love mayo, and it is difficult to eat without it, since I have learnt to eat that way for a long time, now….. it is hard to stay healthy being a lover of such ingredient, but many people have told me it is better to prepare your won mayo at home, and that interested me a lot, and looking at these recipes, it is not such difficult thing to do, but probably the best :O

    I definitely do not like mayonnaise but I am a fan of new recipes for salad dressings. Personally, an all time favorite is just olive oil, lemon juice and garlic. It’s super tasty, and also very very nutritious. Thanks for the recipes!
