So, I actually used to think that cranberries only grew in bogs, but I was pleasantly surprised when I moved to Alaska a few months ago, to learn that a different type of cranberries actually grow in the lower brush at Alpine level in the mountains here in Southeast. There's a special name for them, they're not bog cranberries, but after the first freeze they are soo sweet and tasty!

I have tried many of these dished but with other more common fruits as strawberries, and they are delicious. Since I?m a very fan of almost every berry, I think I should try these too! Cranberries are so nice! I have tried things like juice, or some cocktails, but actually very few desserts and less salty foods so it would be exotic for me to try some of these.
