Pollen is the male spore of flowers that the wind and insects are responsible for disseminating to place it in the pistil, the female part of flower, and thus cause pollination. Pollen is an ideal source of energy for humans and has surprising effects on the body.

Health effects

Mainly, it acts as a stimulant and energizing for the whole body, those who consumed it almost instantly experience a feeling of wellbeing, joy and courage to live. It acts as a rejuvenating, balances the immune system (white blood cells responsible for regulating the body's defense system), contains revitalizing and purifying effect for the blood (revitalizes and increases the amount of red blood cells in the blood) and is a good digestive system debugger. It also has high antibiotic properties that help fight diseases and eliminate excess toxic and poisonous substances to the body.

Composition of pollen

Pollen is composed of more than 30% protein by making it an ideal food for vegetarians (36 grams of pollen meet daily requirements of protein from a common person), and contains amino of easy assimilation by the body. Much of the pollen are sugars, it has a minimal amount of vegetable fats, fatty acids and over 30% of minerals which include phosphorus, sulfur, iron, calcium, copper, magnesium and iodine among others. It has B vitamins and contains vitamins A, D, C, H and E.

Pollen contains essential vitamins and essential for health. The human body can survive shortage with 25 grams of pollen a day. Since ancient times, pollen was considered a "gold" food and was used exclusively by people of royalty and especially used by athletes, for the amount of energy and strength it provides. Today it is used in the diet of athletes well informed. Here are some of the vitamins and the effect it has on health:

Vitamin A: is essential for force and strength to the body, helps fight infections and strengthens the sight, staying healthy. Helps control acne, poor digestion and combats rough and dry skin. The body tends to lose this vitamin when you're stressed and exposed to long periods of tension, you need to be replenished constantly.

Vitamin B: is essential for growth and health of the nervous system, to a good assimilation of food, maintaining healthy heart rate and directly influences emotional states. Its deficiency causes a weak character.

Vitamin D: Indispensable to form bone, muscle, respiratory system and a healthy growth at its maximum potential. The lack of this vitamin causes weakness, decay, instability and weakness of the nervous system in bone, as this vitamin helps to absorb calcium properly.

Vitamin C:  needed for nutrition for the whole body as it has disinfectant, antibiotic, antioxidants properties. Essential for the proper functioning of all the body's reactions. Deficiency causes low immune resistance, poor health in all aspects, skin problems, weakness, irritable mood and prone to depression, susceptibility to disease, irregular heartbeat, cataracts, bleeding and skin and hair problems.

Uses and proper consumption of pollen 

You can add a tablespoon or two to your juice, liquid, fruit cocktail, water and even in a pan with butter and jam. It can be eaten by children to adults, but it is important to soak it well, the grain is physically indestructible so it is recommended chewing or preferably grinding it to be very well exploited.

Pollen smoothie

Ingredients

  • You can use any citrus fruit such as lemon, strawberry, orange, guava, grapefruit or any other. You can combine them if you like.
  • A bit of rice molasses or brown sugar (to taste)
  • spoonful of porridge
  • Juice of two lemons
  • A big spoonful of pollen
  • One teaspoon of Sesame

Preparation

Put all in blender and grind. Drink with small sips slowly and do not rush, trying to enjoy it. This special juice is a vitalizing to start your day. Seek to take on an empty stomach and do not take anything else until half hour when, if possible, you do some simple physical activity like walking, jogging, dancing, etc. This juice cleanses and activates all the functions of your body, revitalizing your entire body.
