It’s common to lose hair daily, and generally it’s nothing to worry about. Whenever you lose a lot of hair, however, the situation could become fairly stressful, especially when you can start to notice the hair loss.
Hair loss is generally due to different factors, from internal factors including a diet with insufficient nutrients, and hormone changes, to external factors, like exposure to heat or certain chemicals. You absolutely must identify what is causing your hair loss in order to choose the best treatment option for you.

Take care of your hair
Exposing the hair to extreme conditions, like styling it in certain ways by using heat, excessive brushing, or even wearing a tight up-do, could cause your hair to be more fragile.
It is important that you avoid flat irons, blow driers, and other heat sources, including hot water showers. This could make your hair more likely to fall out.
If you get a lot of knots in your hair, always try to remove them carefully. Do not pull on your hair too hard. Use creams if necessary.
Do not use too many chemicals, like dyes or treatments, which can weaken your hair from the root.
Strengthen your hair with your diet
Weak hair could be the result of an insufficient diet. That’s why it is important to focus of certain nutrients when strengthening your hair.
Iron: Lack of iron can lead to anemia. One of the symptoms of this is hair loss, which is why we include recommending foods rich in iron in your diet. Or, you could also use a supplement. Do not rule out a medical evaluation, which can confirm if you are anemic and need some sort of supplementation.

Zinc: Lack of zinc can cause problems including hair loss. Foods that contain zinc include meat, seafood, wheat germ, nuts like walnuts, pumpkin seeds, etc.
Oil massages to fight hair loss
Massages are useful for fighting hair loss. They activate circulation in the scalp, thereby strengthening hair from the root. You can also massage yourself with oils to nourish hair from the root.
Coconut oil massage: this helps fight dryness in hair and strengthens it. Use a small amount of this oil, massaging from the nape of the neck towards the forehead, using your fingertips. Spread the oil around, and don’t use too much oil. Lastly, if you have dry hair, take a bit of oil in your fingertips and apply it to the ends of your hair.

Olive oil massage: This oil is rich in vitamin E and other antioxidants, which help promote hair growth, and strengthens hair. We advise using a small amount of olive oil, and use your fingers to spread it around from the roots to the ends. Use circular motions on your scalp, without pressing too hard.
Rosemary oil massages: This is used as a preventative measure but is also useful for fighting hair loss. Rosemary oil stimulates hair growth, and is easily applied. Massage it into your hair with your fingertips. We recommend diluting rosemary oil in another plant-based oil, like olive oil. Alternatively, you could also rinse your hair in a rosemary infusion, when washing your hair daily.
Herbs for fighting hair loss
Rinse your hair with infusions or extracts from certain plants, or drink a few teas, to help fight hair loss.
Aloe vera: Use also vera gel to rub into your hair. This is a commonly used remedy to treat hair loss because of its healing properties for skin. Currently you can also find shampoos that contain aloe, along with other ingredients.
Green tea: Thanks to its compounds, green tea can stop hair loss, especially when caused by a hormone imbalance. We advise consuming 2 to 3 cups a day in order to see benefits in your hair.
Horsetail: Because of its nutritional properties, horsetail can strengthen hair from the root. That’s why we recommend preparing a horsetail infusion with rosemary, then rinse your hair with it after your normal shampooing. Do not rinse with water afterwards. Repeat daily until you see the results you want.
Limit stress
One of the primary causes of hair loss is undoubtedly stress. Even stress from losing your hair can exacerbate the situation. That’s why we recommend using relaxation techniques to keep your stress at bay.
Breathing techniques, meditation, yoga, and other types of activities and exercises that you enjoy are great for fighting day to day stress, and for reducing its effects on the body.
