How funny! When I was a kid we used to do field labor during the summers detasseling corn, and every time our skin became uncomfortable, be it bug bites, bee stings, or getting scraped by those rough corn leaves, we would rub mud on it and surprisingly, every time, it made it feel better! That was before we thought about the chemicals they applied to the fields, haha.
