Jellies with Fruits

Do you want to give a different look to your desserts and fruits? The jellies are a delicious way to take advantage of seasonal fruits and enjoy a healthy dessert.

Waterfall of fruits

Ingredients for water jelly:

  • 2 cups of water
  • ½ cup of cold water
  • 20 grams of gelatin
  • 200 grams of sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of fruit essence
  • Other fruits to encapsulate
  • 1 aluminum mold of 15 cm diameter and 1 liter of capacity.

Ingredients for yogurt jelly:

  • 150 ml of coconut yogurt
  • ½ cup of water
  • 10 grams of gelatin

Preparation:

  1. Heat a cup of water with sugar, when it boils, add the gelatin hydrated in half a cup of cold water and mix well.
  2. Add remaining water and essence, pour one centimeter of gelatin in the mold and accommodate fruits.
  3. Empty the remaining gelatin and accommodate every fruit, refrigerate.

The yogurt jelly:

  1. Put genetin in ½ cup of water and heat it in a water bath.
  2. Blend withr yogurt and put in a mold, refrigerate.

Fruit Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 liter of yogurt
  • 2 cups of condensed milk
  • 1 cup of evaporated milk
  • 1 cup of water
  • 40 grams of gelatin
  • 1 can of fruit cocktail in syrup.
  • 1 stainless steel mold with circular shape of 25 cm of diameter.

Preparation:

  1. Hydrate the gelatin in a cup of water and heat it in a water bath to dilute it.
  2. Heat together the two milks and add the gelatin. Mix well.
  3. Blend the mixture with the yogurt and syrup.
  4. Pour the fruit and then the gelatin into mold, cool for 2 hours.

Mango Delight

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of cold water
  • 1 can of mangoes in syrup
  • 1 cup of condensed milk
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 1 natural yogurt, 150 grams
  • 1 cup of mango juice
  • 25 grams of gelatin
  • 1 aluminum mold of 21 cm diameter x 5 cm height, 1.5 liters capacity.

Preparation:

  1. Hydrate the gelatin in the water reserve.
  2. Heat the juice and syrup, add the gelatin and mix well.
  3. Blend all ingredients together with the food mixture.
  4. Pour in the mold and refrigerate.

Special peaches

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of peaches in syrup.
  • 2 cups of plain yogurt
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 15 grams of gelatin
  • ½ cup of hot water.

Preparation:

  1. Drain peaches and put them on a platter.
  2. Hydrate the gelatin in hot water.
  3. Mix the yogurt with sugar and gelatin until they are well blended.
  4. Fill peaches with yogurt and refrigerate.
  5. Add decorations and serve.

Yogurt with Lemon Jelly

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups of yogurt
  • 2 lemons, juice only
  • ½ cup of evaporated milk
  • ½ cup of water
  • 20 grams of gelatin
  • Sugar 250 g
  • 1 aluminum mold of 1 liter of capacity

Preparation:

  1. Hydrate the gelatin in the water, let stand a few minutes until it's fluffy and put in the microwave for 30 seconds.
  2. Blend with the other ingredients.
  3. Pour into mold and refrigerate.

Strawberries and cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 1 can of cream
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 15 grams of gelatin
  • ½ cup of cold water
  • cooking oil spray
  • natural strawberries
  • 1 plastic mold with spherical shape, ½ liter capacity.

Preparation:

  • Hydrate the gelatin in the water and heat it in the microwave for 20 seconds.
  • Mix along with all the ingredients
  • Pour in the mold greased with cooking spray and refrigerate.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries to serve.

    I have never really liked jello, but these do sound like really good recipes! Ever since my brother told me that jello was made from horse hooves (which…this isn’t competley false) I was so grossed out by it, every tiem I saw it wriggling around there in my bowl, I just felt sick! Maybe I’ll give a recipe a try…
