The infections occur when the immune system is weak and the body's defenses don’t eliminate harmful bodies that enter the body. Infections also occur even when the body is too saturated with toxins and waste, which generates excessive heat inside (internal fever) and makes the body ideal to keep bacteria and germs harmful to the body leading to all kinds of infections and diseases.
Symptoms of infection:
The symptoms occur because of reactions produced by microbes in the tissues or organs affected, and also because the defense mechanisms is triggered by the body to fight pathogens.
Symptoms of infection include:
- Fever is one of the most obvious symptoms to know that there is an infection. Body temperature is raised as a defense mechanism tries to destroy pathogens in the heat.
- Fatigue and general exhaustion.
- Headache or migraine.
- Muscle aches.
- Excessive sweating.
- Joint pain.
- Loss of appetite.
- There are some other more specific symptoms which depend on the organs and systems affected. For example, if there is infection in the lungs, there will be cough, excess phlegm, chest pain, etc. In the case of gastrointestinal infection, the stomach may hurt, vomiting, diarrhea, etc. It is clear that the diarrhea does not always mean infection.
