Herbs, teas and medicinal waters to expel kidney stones

Kidney stones slowly grow and may be in the body for years and with no visible symptoms until people suddenly present renal colic or pain in the kidneys. The causes of kidney stones can be many:

  • People with gout and high uric acid levels.
  • Urinary tract infections.

The following recipes will help to expel kidney stones. You need to combine this treatment with a diet without meat or dairy, white flour or refined sugar and alcohol derivatives as well. You should eat most of the time fresh vegetables or steamed broth, citrus fruits and 2 liters of water a day. All treatments should be started drinking lemon juice diluted with water while fasting, every day, and you should take a clove of fresh garlic a day, at whatever hour.

Infusion of avocado leaves and apple juice

You need to make an infusion by adding a cup of boiling water and a handful of avocado leaves. Let boil for three minutes and then strain. Drink fresh, three times a day. Combined withfresh apple juice or eat fresh apples, 4 or 5 a day.

Bladderwrack to expel kidney stones

Add a tablespoon of this seaweed in a cup of boiling water and wait to warm up. Strain and drink immediately, three times a day.

Watercress Juice

Prepare this juice combining carrot juice with two cups of watercress. Blend and drink 3 times a day.

Infusion of Horsetail

Horsetail is a plant that is used for edema or fluid retention and to expel kidney stones, as well as urinary tract infections or the inability to control urination.

To prepare, just add a tablespoon to a cup of water. Boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off and let stand until warm up. Drink at once. Repeat 3 times a day.

Dandelion tea

Add a handful of this herb in a glass of pure water boiled for 3 minutes. Turn off and let stand 20 minutes. Drink three times a day for two months. It’s very effective in preventing nephritic pains or kidney problems, and to dissolve stones.

Radish Syrup

Wash, disinfect and cut into pieces three radishes, place in a bowl with water. Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Let stand for twelve hours and strain. Take 3 tablespoons of this syrup fasting until the stones pass.
