These sound great, but not for Christmas haha! Call me traditional, but I love turkey with all the trimmings, and who cares if you gain a few pounds? In the North anyway, Winter is for keeping warm and eating good (fatty) foods with family and loved ones. I'm sure these recipes would go down a treat in more southern countries like Spain, Portugal, Greece, etc. but here it is a nice treat to eat fatty food for one day in the year.

Thank you!! I think so often people think that just because it's the Holidays, they have a free card for eating all sorts of traditionally terrible food that is fattening. People gain so much weight over the holidays, and its ridiculous!! I definitely support the effort to stay healthy during Christmas. Thanks so much!

Great alternatives to those traditional high-calorie meals with which we pack on the pounds during the Holidays! These are also great to make for other Season's as well. For example, the Peaches and Berries is a great for a Spring dessert.

Amazing recipes! The people is very used to the traditional foods of this season and they just forget that they may be variations and this is always good to change a little, I feel that this is a very good idea and healthy too, as the traditional food tend to have many sugar and fat.
