1. Cosmetics:

Walk at least 20 minutes daily or if you prefer opt for a sporting activity.

Few tips…
- Avoid very hot baths.
- End bath directing the jet of cold water into the legs from the bottom up to activate the movement.
- Avoid staying long hours standing or sitting.
- Avoid crossing your legs, this is a very feminine gesture but prevents proper circulation.
- Do not wear tight clothes. Pants and shoes if compressed too much, worsen blood circulation and promote the swelling of the lower extremities.
- In winter half of "compression" will help reduce edema.
- Place a pillow at the foot of the bed and sleep with your legs slightly elevated.

The best thing that I have found for my legs is undoubtedly cycling. Cycling is such a great workout for the legs, it helped me lose a bunch of weight (without even trying), it toned my legs, and even helped improve circulation so much that it got rid of my spider veins!
