Jellies are among the favorite desserts and simple to prepare, you can prepare water-based gels (transparent) or milk based (without transparency), and can have from fruits and cereals, oilseeds and vegetables to flowers … even herbs! There are many ways to prepare and can be played to create clever and attractive designs with them. On this occasion, we share some recipes for milk-based gelatin.
Cream and strawberry jelly
Ingredients
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 1 can of half cream
- Cream cheese, 1-190 grs.
- 4 cups of strawberries
- 3 packets of natural gelatin
Procedure
- Hydrate the gelatin in half a cup of cold water until dissolved
- Boil ½ cup of water and add the gelatin, stirring well so that there are no lumps and set to cool.
- In a blender, put the milk with the cream cheese and strawberries and process until smooth then add the gelatin. Empty into your mold and refrigerate.
- NOTE: You can substitute the strawberries for the fruit that you like.
Pineapple jelly
Ingredients
- 2 cups of fresh pineapple and bathed with honey, brown sugar and 2 tablespoons water (wait for release syrup)
- 2 cans of half cream
- 1 / 2 cup of sour cream
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 30 grams of hydrated gelatin in ½ cup cold water
Preparation
- Heat the syrup from the pineapple and then dissolve the gelatin.
- Moreover, liquefy all the cream and eventually add the juice with the gelatin, add the pineapple pieces and put in the refrigerator two hours. And it’s ready!
Eggnog jelly
Ingredients
- 1 / 3 ounces of eggnog
- 4 tablespoons of gelatin
- 1 liter of milk
- 100g of Cinnamon
- 1 can of condensed milk
- fruit to decorate
Preparation
- Liquefy the eggnog with condensed milk, boil with the rest of milk and some cinnamon.
- Add to mold, wait and decorate.
Cappuccino Jelly

- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur
- 100 milliliters of water
- 2 packets of powdered cappuccino
- 7 tablespoons of gelatin (unflavored powdered gelatin)
- 2 cups of milk
- 4 tablespoons of brown sugar
Preparation
- We hydrate the gelatin powder in water and leave it until it becomes a kind of firm sponge.
- Dissolve sachet of powdered cappuccino coffee in a little milk.
- In a saucepan we take the milk, cappuccino, sugar, and before it boils add the gelatin and mix it perfectly. Let it boil for few seconds and remove from heat. Add the coffee liqueur and mix well.
- Pour into molds and we put it in the fridge for an hour or until very firm. Add pastry cream for garnish.
Walnut Jelly
Ingredients
- 200 gr. of Walnut (100 minced, 100 Ground)
- 1 1 / 4 liters of boiled milk
- 2 cans of milk
- 7 tablespoons of gelatin
- Soak the gelatin in 1 / 2 cup of water
Procedure
- Empty the 2 cans of milk in a saucepan with 2 scoops of steamed milk and cold milk cans.
- In a separate saucepan over low heat, put two measures of milk in which to dissolve the gelatin.
- Slip into the first pan and add the walnuts. Stir well and put into the mold, previously cooled in the freezer.

I love jelly of every kind and flavor and well there is a contest at my school where you prepare the most original jelly with a design and everything. Wow!!! I ahve never really been a fan of Jello or those other fairly artificial gelatins, but these recipes sound fantastic! I can’t believe there’s so many ways to make gelatins, I absolutely love eggnog, and the cappucino gelatin sounds wonderful. These would be really interesting dishes to take to picnics!
