From the sea to your kitchen, seafood recipes

The seafood, such as shellfish, is not only delicious, but also nutritious. Most are low in sodium and cholesterol. Many of these are nutrient source and low in calories, containing approximately 20% more proteins of high quality than red meat and poultry.

They are sources of vitamins and minerals rich in phosphorous, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, iodine and chlorine.

Beware of cholesterol

While seafood is low in fat and most of the fat is polyunsaturated and healthy, we must take into account that it contain cholesterol, such as shrimp: it exceeds the amount of cholesterol even more than red meat consumption.

I live on the alaskan coast and we eat a lot of seafood. Most of it is primarily salmon, halibut, rock fish (we also eat venison and moose), but we don't really eat the exotic items, like octopus. We can get shrimp however, and we can get octupus, they're just a little more difficult to find, so I'll have to try that pizza out!

I want to prepare it too so bad! It looks like, something like oysters, maybe on the grill, but I think the secret is in the season you use when preparing...
