We have used the popular ingredients as walnuts, almonds, chocolate, hazelnuts, peanuts, amaranth, anise, etc. They are very nutritious, containing vegetable fats that are very beneficial for the skin and hair and also eat them on crackers and cookies a delight. Lemon Cookies with peanuts or amaranth snow (Mexico)

Ingredients

  • 280 gr of flour
  • 100 g of peanuts (you can make a peanut butter and other amaranth)
  • 200 g of butter
  • 50g of icing sugar (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Lemon zest
  • A pinch of salt

Procedure

  1. The procedure is quick because all we have to do is take all ingredients in the glass of thermomix and mix for about 20 seconds to veloc.6.
  2. After retiring, use the filter paper and let rest in the refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour.
  3. Then split into small pieces and give the way we want, baking it later at about 200 degrees so that they are golden brown and miss inside.

Nut Crackers (USA)

Ingredients

  • 150 g of butter
  • 60 g of sugar glace
  • 1 egg
  • 20 g of ground almonds

  • 1 drop of orange blossom essence

Procedure

Ingredients

Instructions

    Isn’t it so fun to see how other countries and cultures celebrate their holidays? I just love that so many countries around the world have their own variations on favorite sweets. Those lemon cookies from Mexico sound amazing!
