If you want a diet to enhance your beauty, lose weight and strengthen your immune system, the diet of the chard is one of the best alternatives. Chard is a highly nutritious vegetable with properties, not only low in calories but contains a large supply of vitamins A and C, in addition to important minerals like potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and iodine.
It is great in a vegetable diet for weight loss because it has cleansing, laxatives and diuretics qualities in ideal proportions for the body to eliminate excess fat, harmful chemicals, toxins and other substances that stay in the body causing overweight and prone to diseases and infections. In addition, the greens contain large amounts of water, so give the feeling of satiety, beautify skin and hair and keep the body clean, preventing the skin to eliminate toxins and looks rejuvenated and healthy.
How to do the diet?
The diet should be made with tender and fresh chards that contain all nutrients. Preferably buy organic or biological chards that do not contain pesticides, chemicals or other substances. There are many supermarkets where you can get them washed and disinfected, and can last three or four days in the refrigerator.
How long should I take this diet?
It is scheduled to last 21 days, but we recommend that once you finish your diet, try to keep the suggested diet for your body has no propensity to store fat and harmful toxins.
What foods should be avoided during the diet?
Like on most diets, you should not give your body harmful foods or saturated fats because then what will the chard do is to refine what you eat and you actually are trying to remove excess. So you have to avoid eating saturated fats (fried foods, junk food, sausages, fatty foods, etc.) As well as sugar and white flour, which only provide a large number of toxins in the body that becomes overweight.
FASTING: Drink chard with lemon juice (see details in preparation). Drink the juice and don’t eat anything else for about twenty minutes.
BREAKFAST: Eat fruit, preferably papaya, grapes, pineapple or orange.
MID-MORNING: It’s up to you, respecting the non suggested food. Options: vegetarian sandwich, quesadilla with vegetables, or omellete, etc.

LUNCH: Vegetable broths, or stew. Avoid red meat or spicy foods. You must choose a main food and combine it with chard salad or other vegetables as carrots, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, etc. Season with olive oil extra virgin, lemon and salt. Do not take sugary foods, it is best to drink a glass of warm water with lemon to accompany food.
MID-AFTERNOON: Grain bars, fruit salad, gelatin, etc.
DINNER: Salad with apple and oatmeal or something light.
Remember during the diet; drink two liters of water for proper mobilization of toxins.

Remember to vary the foods every day, include often green tea, citrus fruits and steamed vegetables.
If during the diet you feel any symptoms such as stomach pain, diarrhea, rashes, etc., is that the body is mobilizing and evacuating toxins. This is normal, especially if your body is overweight or very sick.
Chard juice for weight loss
- A hand of fresh spinach, tender and washed.
- Juice of one lemon
- Some pure honey
- A glass of pure water
Blend and drink all at once, without strain.
Remember that exercise is basic in all diets, because if you are very sedentary, your body will take longer to evacuate and mobilize toxins and bad fats. The exercise will help to accelerate and accentuate the diet results.
