The skin can look young, healthy and radiant for many years. The key is to have an effective cellular regeneration. How? Here are the secrets of youthful skin so you can start from today to apply and skin will look fresh and cheerful no matter how old you are.

One of the new trends to combat the deterioration or aging skin is using stem cells, gene therapy, and cosmetic skin rejuvenation, often referred as cell therapy.

What is a stem cell?

A stem cell is a cell that has the ability to self-renew and regenerate by mitotic divisions (a process by which cells divide and give two identical daughter cells). Stem cells have the ability to divide without losing their properties or qualities.

The body tissues of an adult self contain a specific population of stem cells that allow its replacement when some tissue damage.

Cellular therapy

There are already on the market for wrinkle treatments that skin stem cells can develop and operate in full capacity. Stem cell treatments of the plant world are usually used because they are potent stimulants of cellular regeneration.

This technique is just beginning to study and develop to yield good results, but still has long way to go. The goal of therapy is to help the skin to regenerate successfully and stay healthy and cheerful, preventing premature aging and help fade the marks of expression that appear on the face due to external environmental aggressions such as sun, wind, cold, and more, and the exposure of free radicals, etc.

Cell regeneration through diet and other natural alternatives

This therapy can be combined with a diet that helps the skin to regenerate and stay young and healthy by eating antioxidant foods.

We currently know of a long list of foods that are beneficial to the skin and that will certainly help to restore and regenerate very effectively. These foods can be used as a preventive method of aging or deterioration of the skin and are a fundamental key to accompany any process of rejuvenating the skin.

Some effective foods for cellular regeneration are:

  • Alfalfa, almonds, raw vegetables (almost all), avocado, citrus fruits like lemon, orange, etc. strawberries, blueberries, goji berries, etc.
  • Food super-effective to regenerate skin: carrots, beets (beetroot), cactus, aloe vera juice, whole grains and seeds, spirulina, amaranth, vegetable oils, salmon, etc.

Preventive factors for skin breakdown

In addition to diet and anti-aging treatments such as cell therapy, you should take into account other factors such as avoidance of sun exposure without protection or avoid being excessively under the sun that will be a helpful factor that prevents the skin gets damaged and wrinkled.

Drinking enough water a day, at least two liters of water, helps the cells to be well hydrated and keep skin fresh and healthy. It should be pure water and avoid soft drinks, sodas, juices, canned, processed and sugary foods.

The exercise is also another essential factor for the healthy skin. Exercise not only helps to oxygenate the cells but to nourish and maintain firm and elastic tissue. We recommend you exercise at least an hour a day, trying to carry out activities to enjoy.

The facials are also good stimulating for the cell rebuilding in the area of the face. The facial is very effective to stimulate circulation and firm tissues, as well as the ice-therapy.

A good skin exfoliation is important because this way the dead cells are removed and the skin is restored with new cells. Green clay is one of the favorites for effective exfoliation and cell regeneration.

Nice tips, I was searching about the stem cell treatment and it?s kind of expensive for some people, anyway I always have thought that eating the proper diet and doing activities is enough to have a beautiful and natural skin. But when you get old, I think aging can?t be avoided.

I’ve always wondered about stem cell treatments. I’ve never really know that much about how they work (and I’ll still have to do some more research), but I do know that there are quite a bit of ethical questions that come into play with this type of treatment as well, so I’d like to hear a little bit more about both side of that coin as well.
