Bananas: effective diet for weight loss

The banana is a soft fruit with sweet taste that not only has high nutritional properties, but is a fruit that can make you lose those extra kilos if you know to use wisely. The banana is a fruit that can be used to treat many conditions (see detail below), among which is very effective to help fight obesity, as it exerts an effect of satiety that makes you feel satisfied, so when eaten, hunger is gone and also the other side is the nurturing one because the banana is rich in many minerals and high quality protein.

About the diet

Asa Banana Diet is the original name of this diet that originated in Japan, it is said that someone trying to lose weight and nothing worked, tried the diet and it worked brilliantly. In Japan this is a trendy diet, most is done by replacing the consumption of breakfast for one or two bananas. However, there are many ways to do this diet.

How is the diet performed?

Diet is performed by replacing some food for the consumption of bananas, which causes you to lose kilos without having to make many sacrifices and exercise. There are people, as mentioned, that only have bananas for breakfast and then eat normally. Some people stop eating other foods in the day to eat bananas.

It is important to know before making the diet, that bananas should not be combined with any other food as it will make digestion very heavy and complicated, its high content of sugars (fructose) ferments foods that exist in the stomach, which cause alcohol production in the body, damaging the liver. Furthermore, diet doesn’t not work if you eat bananas combined with other food. Bananas always have to be eaten on an empty stomach and wait at least 45 minutes before eating anything else.

In addition to diet, find bananas that are ripe, not green, as green bananas are hard to digest.

Then we give the steps of one of the most effective ways to perform this simple diet.

  • BREAKFAST: In the morning, drink half a glass of warm water and wait 10 minutes. Do not eat anything during these 10 minutes and then, eat only one or two bananas, or necessary to make you feel satiated. You must not eat anything until lunch or the next meal. You can include the food you want.
  • LUNCH: You can choose the menu of your choice but we recommend you check out recommendations that emphasize the benefits of this diet.
  • AFTERNOON: If you feel hungry in the afternoon, eat bananas, the only thing allowed, no desserts, cookies, etc.
  • DINNER: Choose the menu for your taste, but check our recommendations first.
  • NOTE: You must drink water during the day but without exaggeration, and not at meal times, 30 minutes before or after.

Recommendations

This diet will increase its score well if you remove from your diet foods that cause you overweight and do not feed you with dairy, animal meats and refined sugars (white sugar) and derivatives. The latter, especially, just cause overweight!

If you are very overweight, you need to definitely follow the previous recommendation or take a banana diet in a more demanding way as described below so that your body is purified and remove harmful toxins and fat depth. The diet was carried out as follows:

  • First food fasting (between 6 and 8 in the morning preferably): half a glass of warm water with lemon juice squeezed. Do not take anything during the half hour that follows.
  • Breakfast (at 9 or 10 am): Bananas, eat enough until you feel satisfied but not "full."
  • Lunch (preferably at 1:30 pm): 1 serving of rice with green salad girl, dressed with olive oil, lemon and a pinch of sea salt.
  • If you get hungry before dinner: ½ banana.
  • Food (preferably at 5 pm): choose your menu in compliance with previous recommendations. One suggestion is grilled chicken breast with tomato salad girl, sprouts and onions. Accompany with green tea with half unsweetened lemonade. At this time we recommend including miso, tofu, cooked vegetables, etc. But do not put any fruit.
  • Snack (preferably at 8 pm): almond milk or some other vegetable milk accompanied with wholemeal bread spread with honey.
  • Before going to bed (from 9 in the night before): a banana.

If you want a super purifying diet, effective and fast, eat only bananas for 2 days.
