Every day, large numbers of people come to acupuncture, with the wide circulation media, easy access to information in their texts and teachings, and especially because it is effective and that today day people are more and more suspicious of the chemical formulas.

But not everyone is aware that acupuncture is one of the branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which includes, also, therapies such as massage, exercise, diet, moxibustion, medicinal plants, among others.

Thus, to implement the above therapies, a review a patient from the viewpoint of TCM treatment to focus on cause and not just the symptoms should be undertaken, getting the balance "Qi" or life force, throughout the patient's body, thereby restoring their health.
