When we talk about desserts and sweet dishes, you cannot forget that the main ingredients are pretty easy to find and very healthy as well, like almost all types of fruits, brown sugar, jelly and yogurt, and their combination that can bring many delciious recipes with low content in sugar and other subtances bad for the body

These are such great recipes! And I just love that you’re emphasizing the importance of choosing small portions of foods, even though they are delicious and special treats. I have a wonderful “treat” that I’ve been giving myself, something similar to these, where I slice up an apple, and make a spread out of creamy yogurt and almond butter. I dip my apples in it and it’s amazing!

I have to say, I am not particularly fond of sweet desserts (I much prefer savoury and salty foods!), however some of these recipes do sound very tempting and it is good to know that each portion is also low in calories, so I do not need to worry about putting on weight! Another low calorie sweet treat is a simple fruit salad with a nice fruit coulis drizzled over the top.
