Winter salad recipes

Waldorf Salad

Ingredients

  4. Just before serving, add sliced apples and raisins, walnuts and cream mixture.

Salmon Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 Lettuce
  • 1 large apple

Preparation

Combine all ingredients. Mix well and enjoy the salad.

Potato and vegetarian sausage salad

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of water
  • 3 large potatoes evenly
  • 2 teaspoons of salt

For the vinaigrette:

  • 2 / 3 cup of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1 / 3 cup of cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of parsley, chopped and disinfected
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper

For the sausages:

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 3 slices of turkey sausage
  • ¼ teaspoon of black pepper

Special Utensils:

  • Cutters in a star or flower

Procedure

  1. Heat water and when boiling put the potatoes with skin, add salt and cook.
  2. Cut into slices an inch thick. Place in a bowl with cold water. Cut each slice with the cutter of your choice and return potatoes to bowl.
  3. For the vinaigrette: Mix all ingredients well and reserve.
  4. For the sausages: Heat the oil, sauté the sausage and add freshly ground black pepper and let cool.
  5. Mix the potatoes with the vinaigrette; include sausages and pepper sprinkled on top. The remaining cuts can be used to make the croquettes, potato pancakes or mashed.

These recipes sound absolutely fantastic! I'm so glad I found this website!! And even though these technically are supposed to be "winter" salads, I think they'd do really well for any time of the year. In fact, I don't really like eating salads in teh winter because it's so cold where I live, that warm soups are a valuable way of staying warm.

Delicious recipes, I actually don?t like the apple or other fruits in the salads, I don?t know why I just don?t like it, but well I?m interested in the last recipe, it looks a little bit hard to prepare but really good to surprise some guests, so I?m going to try it the next dinner I have
