Constipation is a condition in which bowel movements become difficult and pass through the digestive tract with discomfort, difficulty or pain. This is a symptom rather than a disease and is defined as the decrease in the frequency of bowel movements accompanied by a prolonged or difficult stool transition.
It usually manifests as bloating, irritability, pain, and is often an uncomfortable condition.
