Get ready for spring and purify your body

The days are longer and the heat is coming.

It is not so much about losing weight but to cleanse your body and recover the energy lost. To achieve this we must incorporate into our diet foods that promote the activity of the kidneys and liver, our major depurative organs. Furthermore, during this season, we must try to forget the caffeine, industrial bakery, meat and dairy products and rich in fat.

What to consume?

Fruits and vegetables, primarily. Their high water content, fiber and vitamins is perfect to help eliminate toxins.

Fruits

Strawberry: With the arrival of good weather, the strawberry season begins. This delicious fruit has 90% water, and is rich in vitamins A, C and E, some wonderful natural antioxidants. Its consumption has a diuretic and slightly laxative.

Apple: It's the fruit for cleansing. In addition to vitamins, has a large amount of fiber that helps regulate the intestinal transit.

Grape: It has high water content and potassium, it purifies and regulates the blood cholesterol. It is recommended to take a grape juice fasting to stimulate our depurative system.

Cherry: The fruit has 85% water, it is restorative, cleansing and diuretic, and is also rich in iron and potassium.

Lemon: Lemon is a great ally anti-fat. It also helps to eliminate uric acid through urine.

Vegetables

Fennel: The fennel bulb is only 30 calories per 100 grams, and is an excellent debugger for kidney. It is also good satiating and helps digest fats. Take it in raw or boiled.

Artichoke: Within a diet, it is essential to include artichokes, as they help absorb the fat, reduce cholesterol, and eliminate fluid retention.

Asparagus: Its high potassium content makes it an important eliminator of toxins. It also has a lot of fiber and few calories.

Watercress: Prepare a delicious salad with cleansing watercress.

Of course, if you eat 2-3 Noni juices daily, the results are spectacular.

Fall has already begun for us here in Alaska, and I do a similar thing in Fall (and Spring)) whereby I take a couple weeks to transition both physically and mentally into the new season. This Fall I decided to follow Ayurvedic principles with my diet, and meditation, and I feel much more balanced going into this season.

SPRING IS ALMOST OVER NOW,... BUT WELL CLEANING THE BODY MUST BE DONE AT LEAST TWO TIMES PER YEAR, IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT, KNOW YOU DO... SO TAKE ANY OPPORTUNITY TO DETOX YOUR BODY

any occasion can be a really good one to enjoy being healthy and to try to purify the body of all the bad things that might be affecting it.... even spring can help, even if you tend to be an allergic person, you can stop being that right now... just believe it

I like this article, it is pretty short but concise, and I like that kind of stuff, and well summer is over but still it could be a great time for a depurative diet to help my stystem avoid major problems, as you always recommend, thanks for reminding me
